For me the question is, would I perform better on that board than on
my 91 Equipe XR. Perhaps not in really light wind, but with my
balance issues downwind in winds at about 10 mph or above I'm guessing
I would perform better with the new Equipe RD.

Hi Del, the extra volume of the new Equipe (286l) would no doubt be better in light wind that your 91XR (235l) at your body weight. Cheers, Woody - CAN757 ... ...
