Thank you for your comments Kevin. In order to allow everyone to wind
down from the Holiday season we have postponed the Mowind Phone
Conference until Jan 11, Sunday evening at 8:00 central. In order to
keep the meeting short we will talk for one hour. If anything else
needs to be discussed it can be handled later or by individual
committees as necessary. I also want to make sure that each race
director knows about the meeting and if anyone cannot attend that they
get their opinion counted.

So far we have the following items to discuss. Please take a look at
the topics and comment on them. If you think everything is fine then
say that too.

Calendar:
Arnie has put together a draft and noted whether events are confirmed
or not. There are still a few events where he has been unable to
speak with the race director.

Insurance and Moose regatta:
Regatta Liability insurance Protects in several ways. It protects,
the race directors, volunteers, and the organization in general. We
need to discuss what we should do in a case Like the Moose Regatta
where the race directors have their own insurance, but the Mowind
organization is not covered.

Scoring:
We need someone to keep a total of the season scores. Any changes to
the Mowind scoring system can be handled by a scoring committee with
race director input. Once a committee is formed they can have their
own email or phone meetings.

Awards:
Each year we have a person or group to arrange end of the season
awards. The award committee needs to have access to the season totals
so they can decide how many awards to order or make. In order to
prevent waiting until the last minute, we need to discuss when this
team should get started.

Raffle: This year we tried selling tickets at events and online. We
need to make sure that tickets are available for each race to
encourage maximum participation.
