I have my group preferences set to deliver all posts to my email. Then I see each post as a separate incoming message with mowind@yahoogroups.com in the "To:" field (just make sure that these messages aren't filtered to spam or to the trash).

Also, you can reply directly to those emails to make a new posting since it knows that the "reply to" address is mowind@yahoogroups.com. I will look at the group website and see if there are any settings that can fix what you are referring to if you want to use the regular web interface.
