A few moments ago I sent this message to those as many MOWIND
members as I had email addresses for. In case you did not get the
message:
It is time for the 2008 MOWIND annual meeting. We have scheduled
the meeting for next Sunday, December 9 at 6:00 pm based on feedback
from many of you. I have arranged for a conference call at that
time. Please call 877-412-8800 with a passcode of 665-4637. If you
cannot attend at that time, please send a message to this group with
any feedback/information you feel should be presented at the
meeting. Jack & Craig - please contact me if you need assistance
with your reports.
See Files section of Yahoo group for a copy of the 2007 MOWIND
schedule. I would appreciate if all race directors could review
this and send me a message confirming your dates for 2008. Feel
free to reply all to this group and/or use the MOWIND Yahoo site for
any discussion. We will also discuss this during our meeting.
One other note - Bonnie and I went to the memorial service this

MOWIND Membership
Mission Statement:
MoWind Membership – As a reminder, MoWind membership provides a
central organization for structuring the annual regatta calendar.
This helps to promote sailing events throughout the Midwest. As a
secondary benefit, membership provides access to insurance for
regatta organizers via MoWind's relationship with US Windsurfing.
- Probably need to go with what we have for insurance right now
- Look into alternatives for insurance for next year
- $60 insurance dues per event, $120 for two or more events
- Need to get dates verified on the calendar

o Scoring and classes committee can look into this more
- Want to continue to promote women and juniors
- Sport fleet classes look good, use same as last year (see results
sheet)
- A-fleet classes look good, use same as last year (see results
