Nine-time Grand Slam champion Monica Seles is dating Thomas Golisano, owner of
the Buffalo Sabres, the New York Post reports.

Golisano confirmed the relationship to the Post's Page 6 on Tuesday when the
newspaper asked if the two were dating.

"Why do you want to know?" he asked coyly, before replying, "Monica and I see
each other."

Rumours of the relationship began last year, when Golisano brought Seles,
pictured, to a ceremony at Niagara University that was held in his honour for
his US$10-million donation. He also brought the tennis great to a Buffalo Sabres
game where the pair sat with former president Bill Clinton.

Recently, Golisano announced he was moving to the state of Florida to escape the
new millionaire's tax that New York state had passed. Seles lives in Sarasota.

Seles did not respond to the Post's request for comment.

There are 32 years difference between Seles, 35, and Golisano, 67.
