I'm not sure if this one has started yet but it's likely to. South
side of Dandenong road in the sports oval between Greta street and the
Oakleigh motel, I've given up riding on that side of the road due to
meeting head-on a few too many idiots in cars and on pushbikes going
the wrong way down the access lane, but the magpie along there has
been a pretty aggressive one for the last couple of years.
In thirty four years of riding to school and work its the only magpie
that has ever managed to draw blood!
I'll take the magpies over the idiots on bikes any day though. Nearly
got taken out again this week; just about to catch up and pass one of
our international students cruising along Woodside avenue when he
swerved wildly across the road to turn right by going anti-clockwise
around the roundabout. Caused a bit of consternation to the motorist
coming at him head on too.
