Hi,
I've been approached to find out if McBUG members are interested in
working at the upcoming "Don't do traffic" sessions as part of Monash
Sustainability month.
http://www.monash.edu.au/sustainabilitymonth/events/20090328-traffic.html
Student McBUG mebers (sorry not staff) participating would be paid for at casual
rates. The sessions kick off with one on Saturday 28th at Caulfield coinciding
with Earth hour
The format being talked about is (example: Clayton in a big
marquee with a car full of black balloons in the middle) various tables based on
distace from campuses 0-5k walking 0-15k Cycling, Public Transport, Car pooling
etc.
Bike table would have some bikes around it and you would talk to people about
commuting. I've already supplied some video clips that would play in the
background and handouts that will be available for people.
I can't do Caulfield but can probably help out some with the others
So anyone interested please contact
