Fellow Riders,

As those of you based at Clayton may be aware during December 2008
and January 2009 the student volunteer run "Bikery" has been able to
obtain temporary relocation from the first floor of the student
centre to a vacant premises on the ground floor.

The impact on enquires, repairs, sale of accessories, interest in
low cost refurbished bikes, and donations of old bikes has,
to say the least, been somewhat dramatic.

This is just to inform you that a submission has been lodged with the
Office of the Vice President (Administration), under whose portfolio
tenancy falls, on behalf of Monash cyclists by McBUG. The proposal
requests the University consider making arrangements for the on-going
presence of the Bikery within the student centre in a suitable ground
floor location.

As there are further developments I'll update McBUG members
