The construction is for the new Sir John Monash Science School, I
believe a Global notice went out about it some time back, though I
don't recall it specifically mention impact on cyclist entry.

While as cyclists we are very used to taking the most direct and
convenient route into the university it seems that Woodside Ave
(further up Beddoe Ave) is the "suggested" designated entry point
for bikes on that side of the University.

I look into this and see if I can get clarification and any
additional information
