(also)  I was wondering if I could set up a way to get to Coon Rapids for
practice on a
regular basis. I'm gonna be training to ref. you girls and I look forward to
doing that, but I
have no transportation at this time. I live in Dinky Town across the street from
the Loring

Hey peopleI am desparately trying to get some real
skates because those rentals suck so bad. I am hardly
working lately so I'm low on funds. I have a friend
that will lone me $50.00 and I'm sure I can come up
with another $40.00 from someone. So I was wondering
how much of a discount you can get on skates. I
totally want those Persuit 2000 skates in size 8. Can
you let me know when you are ordering again?

Welcome to the group! This is Trixie Whipsum checking in to say a BIG,
GIGANTIC thank you to all of you who came to our volunteer sign-up
night Jan 6th and to those who signed up online. We all really
appriciate your help. I am currently working on organizing a volunteer
run-through for our first bout. The run-through will be Feb 20th 6-8pm
at Cheap Skate in Coon Rapids, please plan on attending or let me know
if you cannot. Our first bout is Feb 27th - plan on being there by 5pm
or let me know if you are unavailable that night.

If you have signed up and I haven't gotten back to you personally, we
do need you, I just haven't finished assigning all the positions. Most
of you listed that you were open to anything we need help with, but if
there is something you are dying to do (production, merch, door,
etc.)email me now.

We do need a few more volunteers, so if you have friends that would
like to help, have them email me directly. If you are on this email
group and haven't signed up yet, email me or go to mnrollergirls.com
and fill out the online volunteer form.

Once I get the volunteer list finished, I will post it here and you
can all confirm that you are here.

hi there!  Pete Lane here.  i am part of the video crew but also hope
to lend my other skills to the team as well.  i was a theater major in
college so definately know the ins-n-outs of making a good show work
right.  i have skills in djing, photography, production, stage
management, costumes, direction, performance, and voice work.  so
anything you need...  i'm there.  just don't expect me to strap on
skates.  i will fall.  and hurt.  probly bleed as well.

2. Confirm that you are/are not available on Feb 20, 6-8pm, Cheap
Skate Coon Rapids, Volunteer Run-Through

3. Confirm that you are/are not available on Feb 27, 5pm-?? Cheap
Skate Coon Rapids, 1st bout

4. T-shirt size & gender

5. List your top two choices for position: production (track set-up,
general stuff) merch, door, statskeeper, scoreboard operator,
parking. (some of you are already assigned to ref,security, or EMT so
just confirm that). If you don't care, respond "anything".

6. If/when you want to come to watch practice. Practices: T&TH 9-11pm
and Sun 6-8pm. Please find me or Lil' Hellion when you arrive.
