Bill Villella of Hi Circle Vee arena in Isanti MN has generously agreed to donate his HEATED large indoor arena for our Groundwork Mini Clinic tentatively set for Sunday, January 27th, from 2 to 4:30.  Check out the website!  www.hicirclevee.com This helpful clinic is free for those fostering rescue horses, and a suggested $10 donation for everyone else.  Come learn how groundwork can make a huge difference in the saleability of your horse, it's athletic ability, it's outlook on life, and how the horse regards you.  Horses with basic groundwork are a pleasure to be around!  Useful for all disciplines, groundwork can help all horses learn to be soft to your cues, keep their shoulders up, balance better, look to you for direction, and develop the thinking side of their brains.  They understand you are the leader and develop respect for you.

Groundwork can be done anywhere - even a stall or barn aisle.  There's so much more to it than you thought!  No roundpenning for this demo.  Come see what amazing things you can accomplish with very little effort.  Demo's will include horses at different levels and will cover desensitizing, yielding the haunches and forequarters, backing, softening their heads and necks, moving in the direction you point, and more as time and horse progress allows.  Weanlings to aged horses benefit from these simple exercises.  Come learn how!  The arena is directly east of Zimmerman at the intersection of county roads 47 and 8.

This email is an effort to determine interest in the above clinic before we finalize it, so therefore please reply directly to me, Janet LaBarre, with you plans to attend.  I will be teaching the clinic and my credentials include training and showing the Midwest champion combined training horse for two years in a row, riding and teaching for Olympian Jimmy Wofford, and many private successful rehabs of horses who have gone on to win at shows.  I am also a graduate of the Potomac Horse Center.  I'd like to send out a final confirmation of the clinic after determining if it is feasible to put on.  Please let me know if you'd be available to volunteer at this event also.  Thanks!

Janet
