Does anyone know the outcome of last month's trial of three
Milwaukee Bucks, including Gary Payton and Sam Cassell, at the For
Your Eyes Only bar in Toronto?
We became interested in it over the weekend when we were told that
this is the place that a lot of pro athletes go to and that if we
wanted to see Jorge Posada away from the field, we should go there
since he's visits every time the Yankees are in town. I declined,
saying that I had no intention to go to a tittie bar to see Jorge
Posada. After all, he has no chin and is rather flat.
It's also the place that the Bucks got in their brawl. Doing some
web searches revealed that the trial was last month. I went through
the web site of the Toronto Globe and Mail but could only find
stories about the trial in progress, nothing about the outcome.
Jerry, you're the expert in this particular area of research. Do
you know?
By the way, for the rest of you, Jerry discovered his favorite
National Park Site last month: Fire Island on Long Island, because
it as a nude beach. Along those lines, yesterday Brenda went to
Toronto island before the game and rented a bike. In her
wanderings, she came across a nude beach. ("I guess this means you
won't have tan lines," we all told her.) She said that even though
the water was very cold, she was going to wade in; however, the
beach was so rocky that she didn't make it to the water. "Then how
did you know the water was cold?" I asked her.
She replied, "I told you it was a nude beach." Duh.
Anyway, amid all the other titillation of this post, I really am
wondering about the outcome of the trial.

(The bar is only a block from our hotel, so Brenda and I are going
to walk by it on our way to the game today just for the heck of it.)
