Como Pontliana went to Colorado State where, according to a HS friend of mine who attended CSU in 1973-74, Como set the school record for fouls in a season or a career.

 

Were Hanson's recruits kids who graduated HS in 1970, or 1971? If it's 1970, Jeff McCarron and Tom Mulso of Sherburn are possibilities, although I seem to recall that one or both of them attended Augustana or some D-II school and transferred in, or maybe they attended the U first and transferred out.

 

Did Emmanuel Rogers of Mpls. Central stay out of trouble long enough to try college ball? Don't recall him at the U, but I'm just brainstorming.
