A month or so ago, I'm guessing, Alan asked how the Gophers, with 2 seniors
and 3 recruits, were coming up with enough scholarships to go around. Well,
now we know: It is by pulling Travis Busch's scholarship. So the news story
today said that Busch had decided not to return to the Gophers. Somehow that
seemed like an odd way to put it.

Anyway, Winona State and Nebraska-Omaha are said to be offering Busch a
scholarship to those very fine institutions. I don't think there's much
question that he would add a lot to Winona, say, though it's too bad he has
just one year to get integrated into their system.
