Tuesday night, I was doing
the PA announcing for the
Holy Angels boys
basketball home opener
against Orono and before
the game I met the
Spartans head coach, Barry
Wohler. He helped me with
pronunciations and we
talked about the state
tournament when he led
Bird Island-Lake Lillian
to the Class A title as
well as his days in the
Dodger farm system. He
brought up training camp
in Vero Beach.

I should also point out
that his son is an 8th
grader on the Orono JV
team. He did play and
score a couple of points.
