This morning's Strib contains an obit for former gopher hoopster and
asst. coach Glen Reed. Glen was also an asst. baseball coach and
asst. A.D. Those of us who are old enough also recall his work as a
commentator on the high school state tournament telecasts.

Glen's son, Steve, was a year behind me at Robbinsdale HS and we were
on the track team together.

Glen died Oct. 28 from complications of Parkinson's disease. He was
72 years old.
