I went down to Barnes & Nobel in downtown Minneapolis on Saturday to
see Vern Mikkelsen, who was signing his book, which he did with John
Egan. (I was hoping to meet John Egan, too, but he wasn't there.)
Vern was looking pretty good.

As for another book event, Marc Hugunin and I will be at the Groveland
Tap this Tuesday night at 7 p.m. doing basketball trivia. I think
they might be giving away some books. Groveland Tap is at 1834 St.
Clair Avenue in St. Paul. I think it's right off Fairview Avenue.

Marc will also be at the new Borders in the Rosedale Marketplace,
which is attached to Rosedale, this Sunday (don't know what time) with
Joel Rippel and Sid Hartman to talk about the book.
