Just thought I'd pop in and throw up a link to the independent fan
based Twins message board some friends of mine and I created. We
were really inspired by Curt Schilling mentioning the huge Red Sox
message board Sons of Sam Horn (www.sonsofsamhorn.com) as one of the
influences that helped him decide to waive his no trade clause and
sign an extention with Boston--so we started to look around for an
equivalent Twins message board and couldn't really find exactly what
we were looking for.

So, we created Friends of the Hanky at
http://homerhanky.proboards20.com , which we hope will soon grow
into the online Twins community. The board has only been open since
the 11th of December (yesterday at the time of this posting) but it
is really well designed and organized, and has already actracted
some really knowledgable fans like John Swol, author of Twins Trivia
(http://members.aol.com/jjswol/).

So if you read this and want to come check us out, please do. And if
that happens to be around the middle of this month, just remember
that this thing has to start somewhere, so don't be discouraged by
the current number of members, we're committed to making sure
Friends of the Hanky grows to its full potential, but we can do that
without your help.
