In addition to her fine racing Marsha also acted as a race official when she was not racing in the time trial and criterium and also for the team time trial on Sunday.  Without the help of her and all the officials this racing would not happen.  Thank you Marsha!

Mission in Motion team members had an awesome showing at the Empire State Games these past 4 days here in Binghamton, NY!  Below are the results!  CONGRATULATIONS!

Margaret Thompson (Head Coach for the Central Region Team) won the Gold medal in the Masters Women- 45-54) Time Trial, and also Gold in the Masters Women 45-54 Criterium!

Tami Lewis won the Gold in the Road Race and Gold in the Criterium and the Silver in the Masters women 35-44 Time Trial!

Marsha Kapinus won the Gold in the Masters Women 35-44 Time Trial and Silver in both the Road race and Criterium!

Becky Hemzik won the Bronze in the Masters Women 45-54 Criterium and placed 4th in the Time trial.

Laura Lamash won the Gold in the Masters women 45-54 Road race and Silver in the Criterium!

Vanessa McCaffery competed on the OPEN Central region team who won the Bronze medal overall combined for all four events!  We wish you a speedy recovery from your bee sting during the road race!  Thankfully, she had her epi-pen and medical support arrived to treat her allergic reaction!

I'm hoping to write up a bit of a race report for the Empire State Games if I can get to it fast enough, but for now I want to say it was a great experience...
