Mission in Motion team members had
an awesome showing at the Empire State Games these past 4 days here in
Binghamton, NY! Below are the results! CONGRATULATIONS!
Margaret Thompson (Head Coach
for the Central Region Team) won the Gold medal in the Masters Women-
45-54) Time Trial, and also Gold in the Masters Women 45-54 Criterium!
Tami Lewis won the Gold
in the Road Race and Gold in the Criterium and the Silver
in the Masters women 35-44 Time Trial!
Marsha Kapinus won the Gold
in the Masters Women 35-44 Time Trial and Silver in both the Road
race and Criterium!
Becky Hemzik won the Bronze
in the Masters Women 45-54 Criterium and placed 4th in the Time trial.
Laura Lamash won the Gold
in the Masters women 45-54 Road race and Silver in the Criterium!
Vanessa McCaffery competed on
the OPEN Central region team who won the Bronze medal overall combined
for all four events! We wish you a speedy recovery from your bee
sting during the road race! Thankfully, she had her epi-pen and medical
support arrived to treat her allergic reaction!
