The reason I am emailing you is because we are looking to create a “bike rodeo committee.”    Since conducting bike rodeos are relatively new for our program, we have tended to rely on the same volunteers to help at each rodeo….We are hoping that by creating this bike rodeo committee we could expand our group of volunteers and hopeful have people assigned to specific events well in advance.  This would give our volunteers a bit of a break and with the expansion of our volunteers  may bring about more child participants.  The committee would also act as an advisory group by giving us feedback on how to better execute the rodeos. 

We are looking to meet once a year, in February, to discuss the rodeos for the year.  Right now we are looking at about 4 rodeos tentatively scheduled and would ask that our volunteers commit to working 2 rodeos a year.  I was wondering if this might be something that you and your husband may be interested in doing and any of your cycling members as well.  If you have any ideas of who else may be interested in participating in our rodeos, I would truly appreciate it.
