What an awesome night for riding! Perfect temperatures and great company for the first event of the season :)
I had a blast warming up & practicing tips with Becky & Laura, we got almost 12 miles in before race time!
It was great to see so many women out for the first race! Tami, Carrie, Gina, Lorrie, Karen came to race, Dawn and Jackie & Vida were there for moral support, cheering us on and having fun catching up afterwards.
Good luck to Tami & Sarah racing at Battenkill-Roubaix on Saturday! Dress warm, put on your grippy tires, booties, long finger gloves and enjoy! Gee, it will be more like Cyclocross weather than road racing weather this weekend!
As long as you're warm and comfy, you can endure nasty weather :)
