Hi Everyone!
Many of you from TVC already know Karen Holm, she is a cyclist, triathlete, and rower and has moved been to the Owego area after a few year in D.C.!
She has joined our cycling group, along with her daughter, Ursula! Two more women wearing our team uniform! If anyone knows of other women who would like to join us, please put them in touch with me.
Karen has spoken with the Owego officials and they would like the Mision in Motion women to ride in the Strawberry Festival Parade on Saturday June 16th through the village of Owego! Afterwards, there are many local celebrations going on with Strawberry Daiquiris flowing! Karen has graciously opened her house to us to come and BBQ after the parade to enjoy the celebration! The village of Owego need to have a response if we will participate in the parade. Please respond (by hitting reply to all) whether you can attend the parade on Saturday. (FYI, The Actual Race isn't until Sunday) For the out of towners, I will gladly offer my spare rooms for overnight guests :)
