Dear TVC members,
Sara is looking for volunteers for this year's Hollenbeck's race, I know
many of you will be racing at this event. Please ask friends or family
members if they plan on coming to watch, if they would be interested in
helping out.
I helped at registration and finish line last year and had a blast (it's
always fun to listen to Glenn's various cycling tales while standing at
the finish line!) And that finish climb is really fun to watch, I have
to say that the most exciting finish last year was the Junior men (no
other group sprinted up that climb as fierce as they did!) It is
exciting to see such drive and desire!
So if you can help them out, please email Sara sb65@.... At
this point, volunteer positions are open, so you could probably take
your pick!
Binghamton Circuit Race- April 30th- We will also need volunteers
throughout the day, best part is you can volunteer during other races
and still be able to race.
We will need the most assistance at registration in the morning and at
the finish line of each race. We need about 10 pair of eyes to even
come close to identifying the finishers at this race. Thanks, Marsha

Subject: Hollenbecks Spring Classic Road Race
Hi FLCC,
It's that time of year again! The Hollenbeck Spring Classic Road Race is
happening on Sunday, May 7. I am starting my search for volunteers so
please email me your availability and desired job if interested. I have
already lost some of my regular volunteers to either other events or
they have moved out of town so I really need your help! Please talk to
your friends and relatives and see if they would like to come watch an
exciting event, plus help a local club for a few hours on what promises
to be a beautiful Sunday morning.
I won't be returning to sunny Ithaca until April 18, so in the meantime
please email me with your desired position (registration, pace or wheel
vehicle, finish line scorer, etc) and I'll add you to the list. Please
spread the word (announcement below) to other listserves throughout NY.
Thanks for volunteering!
Sara

some great racing and support cycling in the greater
Ithaca/Binghamton/Syracuse/Rochester area.
