Re: Ride Report for Saturday   Message List

It was an awesome day for my first ride outdoors in 5 months!  What a feeling to have the sun and wind on my face again!

Carrie & I split from the group on Route 26 and opted for the nice wide smooth East Main Road climb back to West Chenango Road, and then some nice, quiet roads...Brooks Road down to 11 North, East Hill Road, Oak Hill Road, cross Front St into McGowans, Kattelville Road back to Park and Ride.
35 miles, 2 1/2 hours.

If anyone wants to train steep hills, try East Hill Road from Castle Creek, it'll force you out of the saddle :)

Marsha

So much for a nice easy "endurance" ride like Harold had mentioned. It's TOO early in the season to die, I am now not THAT disappointed I didn't come !! Ha !! Sounds like at least a few guys are in wicked fine shape.
