Subject: FLCC> Sunday Cycling Seminar
This week's Sunday Cycling Seminar topic is Training, Fitness,
Nutrition, and Physiology. We will look at what happens to your body as
you exercise.
If you understand what is going on inside your body, then you can tailor
your training to optimize results, whether your goal is racing, long
distance riding, weight loss, or just making it easier to climb that big
hill for the great views at the top. That understanding will also help
you to see how diet, supplements, and general nutrition fit into the big
picture.
This topic will be presented in a manner that is of interest to general
riders and will not necessarily go into deepest detail of day-by-day
race-specific training programs. However, if you understand the basics
presented here, you will be able to design or at least understand the
reasons behind specific training plans.
Seminars start at 10:00AM Sundays in March. Location is the 1st floor
lounge of Olin Hall Chemical Engineering on the Cornell University
campus.
