Subject: [Milwaukee Brewers Baseball] Spivey

I think the Brewers intend to open with Jr. at 2b and see how it goes with Weeks
in the minors. If Spivey doesn't impress, or if Ricky looks great, I would
guess MKE would make a move, perhaps to a team where the early portion of the
season reveals a weekness at the position. As noted, right now most teams seem
set at second, but that could change during the first couple of months.
The teams that I could think of that have a need:

I like the move for the Brewers, but I don't see it being as attractive for NY,
not with Spivey coming off a down season. Perhaps if he starts out hot and
looks to return to his All Star form they might want to make this kind of move.

I don't for a very specific reason: Doug Melvin promised me that he wouldn't
look over my shoulder at work if I promised to do the same for him.
Fortunately, that deal doesn't apply to second guessing, so I have that to look
forward to.
