Anyone hear about potential takers for Spivey? I think the offense
that Ginters offers can offset his defensive shortcomings at a much
lower cost. However, there aren't many teams that have a hole at 2B
to fill. The teams that I could think of that have a need:

Yankees: They have bought their way to every other position. Why
not one more? Not sure who MIlwaukee would want in return, however,
as their farm system is thin.

Dodgers: They dodgers could use offense and they have pitching to
move. However, i don't think 2B will be there biggest need. I think
they would prefer to worry about OF or 1B. That being said...what
about the idea of moving Spivey to NY....an OFer (Matsui??) to LA
and then one of LA's pitching prospects (Or even Odalis Perez) to
Milwaukee.

A's: THey have Ellis at 2B right now. Ellis may not be a long term
solution ( I think he is more of a utility guy then starter) but he
is adequate and they have German to push him.

That is really it. I suppose the Whitesox could use someone at 2B
but I think you may see Uribe or Harris fill that void. MN could
replace Rivas..but they won't take on money.

Any other ideas.
