a few days ago in the milwaukee journal sentinel paper i saw that
yost said he was going to have richie sexson bat 3rd in the lineup so
he could get more at bats, wonder who would be batting 4th either
jenkins or who else?

they seem to have a plethora of lefties on the squad. No, Ruben
Quevedo will not make the squad, but I think the Brewers will send
him to the minors and he will be one of the first call-ups if they
need another pitcher.

should do this, especially if Brooks Kieschnick proves capable of
handling the job of being a relief pitcher and a pinch-hitter.

least right now. I like Javier Valentin at catcher both because he's
young and because the Twins lost hope in him. Then again, Eddie
Perez and Robert Machado are also strong candidates for this job, but
I feel the Brewers should start Valentin because he's young enough to
have a good year and be close to injury-free.

The Brewers should be fine with keeping him there, especially if
Brooks Kieschnick can pitch and hit. I chose Machado because he was
with the Brewers last year and they have Eddie Perez signed to a
minor league deal; thus, they can afford to send Perez to the
minors. The fifth outfield spot will be a tough call because both
Podsednik and Vander Wal are lefties. Thus, this spot will truly be
based upon who performs better in spring training (I'm sure other
ones are too, but this one will go down to the wire).
