I don't know if I'd say I'm in shock, but I didn't expect the fast
start we've seen. The most encouraging part to me is that they've
done what they've done with Weeks, Hall and Sheets not really being
overwhelming factors. All the parts seem to be complementary right
now, and that bodes well for when the guys who are producing now
inevitably slump later in the year; then other who are cool right now
are likely to be ready to get the big hit or come up with the key
pitching performance.
Moreover, the timing for the current good streak couldn't be better:
they are in the midst of a 22 game stretch v. NL Central teams and are
having great success. May looks like a tougher month, but this
Brewers team looks like it might be up to the challenge. It should be
interesting to see if they are.
