Re: [Milwaukee Brewers Baseball] Re: Hey again

Why do you see Prince warming a bench?  I don't see him being perfect this year, but I think that this management group is going to try to stick with him for a while.  They have shown in the past that they are willing to do that.

Personally, I think the wild card this year for this team is unlikely,
but I won't rule it out as impossible.  I have to admit that I was
shocked when a friend handed me his copy of SI and I saw that the
writers of that magazine picked MKE to finish second in the NL Central
behind Saint Louis and ahead of Houston.  The rest of the prediction
was Cubs in 4th, Pirates 5th, and Reds last.  This differs from the
way I had picked the division to finish.  I picked Houston to win the
central, followed by SL, then MKE then the Pirates in 4th, Cubs 5th
and Reds last.

I was at todays game and had a great time, the team looked pretty good
but there is still lots of room for improvement....especially at first
base.  Thankfully Cory Hart and Bill Hall can both play that position
and I believe that in the near future one of them will have that spot
and Fielder will be another benchwarmer.

So Chris, I see you are going on Saturday.  So am I, I took that game
as the freebie in my 9 pack and I am spending the weekiend in MKE and
seeing Sundays game as well.  It would be great to put a face to the
name so if you want to meet and chat for a little bit let me know.

Randy

... I don't see Wild Card, but I do expect them to be competitive. 85 wins is a good goal. Anything less than 82 would be a disappointment for me. I am going...

We were at today's game, it was GREAT! My son is predicting 94 wins and he is sticking to it. We'll see how he does with that total. Actually, Ned Yost says...

I think the team will have around 85-87 wins. Our talent is more developed than last year, and just look at how many times last year we failed to get a runner...

... I assume you are referring to Prince's four Ks, not his defensive work? ... I don't think Hall will play any first -- as I understand it, he will be moving...
