At 11:01 PM 4/3/2006, Randy offered the following:
>I was at todays game and had a great time, the team looked pretty good

>base.
I assume you are referring to Prince's four Ks, not his defensive work?
> Thankfully Cory Hart and Bill Hall can both play that position
>and I believe that in the near future one of them will have that spot
>and Fielder will be another benchwarmer.
I don't think Hall will play any first -- as I understand it, he will
be moving between third, short, second and center. Koskie, Cirillo
and Hart are all ahead of Billy at first.
In any case, I am not ready to cashier Prince because of one poor
game at the plate. If they stuck with Hardy for two horrible months,
I imagine (and hope) they would give Fielder at least that much
slack. I know we've been disappointed before with guys like Billy Jo
Robidoux and Joey Meyer, but I think this guy might have more staying power.
>So Chris, I see you are going on Saturday. So am I, I took that game
>as the freebie in my 9 pack and I am spending the weekiend in MKE and
>seeing Sundays game as well. It would be great to put a face to the
>name so if you want to meet and chat for a little bit let me know.
Sure...I'll be in Section 116, row 15 seat 19 if you want to swing by
at some point.
Funny you should mention the Nine Packs: I am contemplating buying
in to one of those packages next year with a friend of mine (the guy
I will be attending the game with). The pros and cons of that move
are likely to be our first item of business Saturday. (Well,
probably second after our first round of brats.) I don't think we
could afford them on the field level or even the loge between the
bases, but the loge down the lines might be possible. We'll have to
talk it through.
