AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani admits he is looking forward to the return of playmaker Andrea Pirlo...
Milan vice president Adriano Galliani has been praising Ronaldinho during the last couple of days, insisting the in-form Brazilian was not a gamble for the Rossoneri.
Indeed, the former Barcelona man has been in stunning form lately, but Galliani also admitted he is awaiting the return of another influential playmaker: Andrea Pirlo.
The Italian international has been injured since September when he sustained a muscle tear, but has resumed training and is expected to be back in the Milan line-up very soon.
"We missed him a lot," declared Galliani. "We did good things during his absence, but fortunately he will be returning soon."
Milan have not lost since Pirlo's forced absence from the team, but many view him as an integral part of Milan's line-up including Galliani himself. His return, however, may cause some selection headaches for Ancelotti as now the coach must drop someone from the starting XI.
Pirlo is not expected to be risked for the encounter with Chievo at the San Siro this weekend, as he still is not match-fit
