A football club has been fined after a match in mid Wales had to be
abandoned after erupting into violence.
Players and spectators were involved in a mass brawl during a
Ceredigion league cup encounter on Good Friday.
Pencader FC was fined £200 for its part in the trouble, while a St
Dogmaels player was given a three-match ban by the Central Wales
Football Association.

Does anyone know what happened to Caersws referee Mr Lewis at the same
disciplinary meeting on Thursday night? I have heard that he has now
given up refereeing.
