Re: Promotion applications

With a bit of luck this weekend I shall have a better idea what
teams from the Mid Wales League have/are applying to join the Cymru
Alliance.

As for teams moving up into the Mid Wales League, I doubt if there
would be any from the Aberystwyth League. Bow Street indicated at
the start of the season that it was unlikely they would seek
promotion, and as for Tywyn/Bryncrug I would think it would also be
unlikely. But then I have never spoken to them regarding this
subject.

In Montgomeryshire I know that Welshpool Reserves would consider it,
but that view was given to me in Sept (I think). Should TNS Reserves
get promoted into division 1, then I would guess that they will
consider it next season.

As for the South, Knighton Town would look like being the only club
who are in a position to consider. Pity they withdrew their
application late in the close season.
