Four Crosses suffered their first defeat of the season after
crashing out of the Montgomeryshire Wynnstay Dectomax League Cup
with a 3-0 second round exit at Dyffryn Banw.
Two goals from Marcus Canning along with a strike from Dyffrig Jones
overcame the second division high fliers who also had keeper Stuart
Bebb dismissed.

Greg Wainwright fired a hat-trick as Bishop's Castle swept aside
first division rivals Guilsfield Reserves 6-0, with Phil Morris,
Martin Ziemann and Shane Leavesley also on target.

Llanwyddyn marched on after hammering Montgomery 9-0 with Craig
Scott and Gerallt Francis both netting four times.

Abermule won 3-1 at Kerry Reserves with Rob Hamer and Nigel Thomas
(2) on the mark in the first half before David Rose pulled one back.

Llanfechain, meanwhile, moved to fourth in the Mitsubishi division
two with a 5-2 success over Forden United.

Adam Edwards netted twice while there were further strikes from
Robin Vaughan, Chris Williams and Rob Owen.

A last-gasp free kick from Andy Edwards saw TNS Reserves snatch a 4-
3 victory at Newtown United, Jamie Evans having earlier fired a hat-
trick including a penalty after Mark Rivers (2) and Jimmy Ryan had
given the hosts a 3-1 interval lead.
