Scott,
I believe that he was referring to the 50cc class. Not to peeve anyone off but I
have been commenting on this for two years now and just a handful of parents
have agreed with me and NONE have voiced their opinion as I have.
I have been willing to give up my awards at each of the winter events so the
cost could then be put back into the youth classes. I know that the majority of
adult riders would also do this if it would go back to the kids. As I said
before, even if it was a participation award it would mean the world to these
kids.
Let me give you a few examples of your "Youth" riders and what they bring to our
sport. P.A., Dustin, Jordan, Jacob, Bishop, Nash, and Fiddler. All started in
our series along with others that I have not mentioned and every one of them are
among the best racers in the country.
When we are at the GNCC, people refer to all of our kids as "Those Mid South
Kids". Better than 90% of all the Mid South youth are in the top five of their
class that compete at the national level. Do you see the investment??? What
better advertisement for the series can you get??? To me it looks as though the
series produces great young riders!
I would be willing to bet that not one series sponsor would be against donating
a little more if it were to go to the kids.
Just my thoughts as usual,
Rob Jordan
