Re: [Mid South Hare Scrambles] weather

Tommy:

Thanks for the suggestion, but....

My hotel had no additional load, nor any reservation cancellations, per
them. Unless the Hotel was leveled, I expect any "name brand" would
contact incoming reservations if they had become unavailable for any reason.
I don't know of any hotels damaged.

On the other hand, if you planned on just "showing up" in Jackson (in
particular) at 7:00 PM for a room at random, definately get a reservation
first to be sure the rooms are avail. Of course, that's Hotel 101.

Otherwise, there was absolutely no damage whatsoever in the race area or
race property, or nearby for that matter per the locals. Conditions ought
to be very nice. Restaruant on-site, expecting a great event.

Hows this for a forcast for a change:
Saturday: Sunny, with a high near 61. West wind between 5 and 15 mph.
Saturday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 32. West northwest wind
between 5 and 10 mph.
Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 50. North northwest wind between 10 and 15
mph.

Sweet.

Cheers,
Scott
