I would highly suggest calling your hotel in the area, I live here in JAckson,
and there are hundreds of displaced people, local people, families& esp. collage
students from 40 states and 35 countries that may have had to have your hotel
room with extended stay's.
CAll. if you were planning on staying around Jackson saturday night ~t

I spoke to the promoters yesterday. Said the weather was a good bit
north
of them, didn't touch them. There was some damage in the Jackson area at
I-40, but not the kind that will have roads closed by this weekend. Someone
suggested checking with hotels there to verify reservations/space if you
planned on staying in that (to the north) area in TN. I haven't heard of
any hotels being flattened so I'd presume if there was a problem the hotel
would contact you. Again, this would only be for hotels an hour north where
the tornado's came through.
The event property did not get any severe weather.
