Mid-South Riders:

This year Moose Racing started our Mid-South contingency program. Several
riders took advantage of it and earned a total of $2343 in Moose
Contingency. Seven riders maxed out the award and get a Moose payout of
$200!! Last season the program was new and introduced maybe a little late.
I don't think a lot of riders completely understood it or took advantage of
it.

For the upcoming season Moose is once again providing a contingency program.
Now there is plenty of time to get on board. It's a great program as you
can see below from the riders who took advantage of it. For rules and

Note that Moose is legally required to ask for W-9 information. I had some
negative input on that last season. It is my personal understanding that
1099's are only issued if a rider's prizes exceed $600. I'm not saying they
won't send one, but I don't know of any occasions where they did. For
winnings under $600 it is up to the winner to decide how to handle their
taxes.
