No one was out of order on the first lap, at least not at the end of
it. There are often overflow numbers used throughout the classes when
we have unexpected high turnouts in particular classes, and as Jeff
pointed out those numbers don't align with the class number range.
Those numbers are almost always 950 to 999.
After the first lap and especially after lap#2, there are so many
lappers the entire field is mixed well by then, so it's impossible to
spot someone out of order. Even on the end of lap one and the start
of lap 2 you will have the C riders and pros intermixed, as well as
anyone else who got stuck, etc. and is now getting lapped.
There was one rider who was caught off-course. They were properly
penalized.
Also, FYI on a different topic, we found 2 kids who ignored my
warnings, and went to the rear of the property to play ride. They
were caught, one was a youth rider who was retroactively DQ'd from his
earlier youth finish. The father of the child would have also been
penalized but he had a DNF so this time was written off as a warning.
Next time dad will be penalized, too. DQ's stick (don't count as
drops) on points. Play by the rules or go play somewhere else,
please.
What'ca doing on a bike Jeff? I noticed your nameplate and wondered
if that was you.
Cheers,
Scott
