My apologies for the late reminders, but today is the third Friday of
May! Only riders like you can Hyde Park Critical Mass become less
theoretical this month...so come ride with us tonight!

We'll meet in Harper Court around 6, possibly heading into Maravillas
for burritos and horchata. We'll head out around 7 (pushed back from
6:30!) to give stragglers a chance to get down here. Harper Court is
on Harper Avenue (1500 East) between South 52nd and South 53rd
Streets.

The ride's theme, WATER, was shamelessly stolen from a house that is
hosting an aquatically themed party later in the evening. The ride
will feature fountains, ponds, Lake Michigan, a kiddie pool, and other
bodies of water, and will be followed by an optional party-crashing.

Please note that and appropriate aquatic attire is encouraged, both at
the party and on the ride. Heck, I may show up in a wetsuit!

And! If it's the third Friday, the third Saturday can't be far behind.
The Midnight Marauders want you to strap on those viking helmets and
get marauding!! This month, our theme is "Don't Advertise That Your
Plans Might Not Be Legal," and it's shaping up to be quite a ride!

I helped with some of the route, and I can assure you that we will be
seeing some moderately to totally cool stuff on the near SW side,
including one of my favorite Chicagoland statues. And LADIES are
particularly invited; I was excited to not be the only girl last
month, and I want it to happen again!

We'll stick to the usual meeting time and place: the Handlebar (2311
W. North Ave), around 11 or 11:30. Look for us out back, where we can
often be found chain-smoking and sniffing each other's bikes. We will
take to the streets at midnight!
