Some of you know (and others don't) that I'm doing AIDS Lifecycle this June.
This Friday, I'm
having a fundraising party at Debonair Social Club to raise money to donate to
the San
Francisco AIDS Foundation. Instead of biking 545 miles to raise money for
HIV/AIDS research,
all you have to do is walk the few feet from the Damen El to Debonair. :) If any
Marauders are
interested, I'd love to see you there. Wristbands are $25, and the proceeds will
support
HIV/AIDS research, assistance for HIV/AIDS patients that cannot afford
treatment, and
domestic and international education and prevention programs. It starts at 9 (so
you can
come right after CM). Your wristband gets you three hours of free drinks, plus
the knowledge
that the money you'd normally just throw away at a bar is going to charity.
