hello again,
Just a friendly reminder of the Snowflake Alleycat Ride/Race tomorrow
at 3. What better way to celebrate the new snow?
It'll be another wet one tomorrow, but it's supposed to be much
warmer, like in the 40s! Come and ride, this time with less fear of
frostbite. Oh, and did I mention the Red and Green Line trains are an
easy bike ride away?
AND as an added bonus, I've convinced some friends of mine in HP to
open their doors (and kitchen) to you, so you can warm up, dry off,
and EAT before the Snowflake.
The kitchen will be open from 10-2, and we will be making panKakes,
eggs, and who knows what else. Come on down, and feel free to bring
something to prepare and share! (The Hyde Park Co-Op grocery store at
55th and Lake Park is nearby.) At 2:30 we will head over to the
Snowflake registration (a.k.a. kick you out).
The location is at 55th and Hyde Park Blvd, very close to TATI. If you
are interested in coming, please call or e-mail me off-list for more
information and an exact address.
