Lauren, look forward to seeing you on the Perimeter. We miss you to. You didnt miss much on the mass, or well sort of. For the majority of the ride the cops were in control. They prevented the route, and blocked us at every atempt to regain any semblance of it. It was unlike anything that has ever happened. After trying to send the remaining riders back to Wicker, and us acting like we were complying, the remaining 200 or so riders went back downtown. We then took Michigan Av. and then for what looks like the last time, Lake Shore Drive. I regret opting out of that part, but I didnt want to be responsible for bringing down the wrath of the city on us. Too late for that, it happened tonight. I should have just gone. Hindsight.
See you in Sept., Martin

marauders,
this talk of the eternal flame is making me think. think about how
much i miss you. and how much i've missed going on rides with all you
crazy drunk fucks. (um, i mean that in the best possible way.
seriously.)
but i must continue to miss you, since i'm out of town until
september. i'll miss ccm in august, and i'll even miss the marauders
ride in september, as i'll be visiting my folks then. but. i'll return
to chicago for a long weekend of rides in september, going to the
perimeter ride (see below) and he boulevard lakefront tour (see...
some official source). september 8th and 9th. um, and maybe i'll throw
myself a party, and if i do i'll definitely tell you crazy drunk fucks
about it. (again, best way possible.) or maybe i'll take a suggestion
of john greenfield's: after the perimeter ride, drink until 5am, then
go to the blt. maybe i'll see you for some or all of my grueling
ride-drink-ride schedule?
yours,
and definitely not still drunk at 6 on friday morning,
and hellof pumped for sfcm,
