I will put a couple forward onto the whole group as a starter:
Sutton Coldfield Rugby Club - I don't know too many more details, but I am sure that they hire out their floodlit grass pitch, as Gav Newman always used to tell me that they did.
Holders Lane pitches near Canon Hill Park in Brum - UTB did our training their for a couple of winters. It is a large floodlight shale-type pitch with changing rooms in Moseley, near the Uni. It isn't ideal as a surface, as no-one likes falling over on gravel, but it had a couple of big advantages for us - fairly central, big enough for a couple of pitches if needed, and VERY cheap. (about £20 for a three hour session in 2005) Contact used to be Anne Angell at the council.
A whole host of astro-turf places. They have "new" astroturf at Birmingham Uni and a few other places around.

Subject: [midlandfrisbee] WM floodlit venues?
Hi
Whilst we're vaguely on this topic...
I'm looking into holding weekly midweek practices/pick up games/hat tournaments that will be open to everyone somewhere in the *West* Midlands during the off-season (aka indoor season).
Obviously this involves finding a floodlit venue, so....
Does anyone know of any floodlit venues in the west midlands?
Please let me know of anywhere with floodlights, even if you think the venue might not be appropriate.

Thanks :-)
