This is a second call for Ultimate players in the midlands area who are of a
masters age (which for our purposes is 30 years of age or more). We've
already had a decent response but I am sure there are more of us out there -
don't be lazy, and forget all those "I'm too old excuses!", baa humbug!
Below is a reminder of what this is about..

This winter we are keen to see if we can develop a masters scene in the
midlands area with a view to building one or more "proper" masters teams.
In the first instance we are aiming to get one (or more) teams into the
Midlands winter league and see where it goes from there. There is currently
no plan to enter midlands masters teams into the tour this year (but who
knows). The eventual aim though is to build a keen set of masters players
in the midlands and to enter teams into European and World Clubs
competitions as a proper competitive team. The main purpose of this email
is to gauge interest from masters players and get you to sign up to the
midlands_masters mailing group. Everything else is open for discussion. To
subscribe to this group send a message to;

UK is currently ranked 3rd in the world for masters so we must be good and
there must be loads off us out there!

Ian Scotland - mostly know as Scott (EMO, GB Masters 04)

Hwo Lam - (BAF, GB Masters Beach)

Simon Church (EMO, GB Masters 03,07)
