The main thought behind keeping the teams (roughly) the same was to
encourage people to play with people they don't generally play
with. But I think that you are right about pickup games -
regardless, at this point we just need to fix a date so that we can
advertise.

Play week night or weekend? Once the Tour season is over (early
Sept) I doubt we'll have the weather to play in the evenings without
floodlights (which can be arranged... Hwo?).

So probably weekend - one day events in a central location. The
location changes depending on who can host; it's more a case of
someone offering to run the event, then everyone goes to them.
Winter Leagues run on the second Sunday of the month, right? So
maybe the third Sunday is best.

Alternatively we can run city leagues - all the players in the city
meet up for pickup games. There might be a problem of lack of
numbers, but hey; start recruiting. There are tonnes of student
teams out there that might need some persuasion to join in the fun;
some outreach work might help.

Give a shout about how *you* are going to help. Let's make this
work.

In an effort to continue the growth of ultimate in the region, I'd like to propose a ladder league similar to that which Felix has run for the university scene...

Hey Midlands the majority of the Jesters are getting antsy and aching to play more ultimate so we're looking to organise a ladder league for the saturday 18th...
