Hi all,
Due to the scheduling of Student Regionals, we only have 6 or 7 players for the
WL Final. Therefore we would like to take an extra 5 players from the MWL. If
there is an all star team being created, we would love to take any overspill,
because I imagine there are a lot of players who would like the chance to play
at this level.
What do people think? I have already been trying to sort out some accomodation
with the organiser, so I'm sure we can meet up on the Friday and get to know
each other.
Cheers,
Nick

Morning all,
Please can all teams have a think about whether or not they would be
able to field a team for the winter league finals event in 1 weeks time
down in London? The current qualifying is as follows:
Boogie Knights - Div 1
Mowers - Div 1 (courtesy of NW league)
Flyght Club - declined
Lords - Now next in line for Div 1
Bears - Now have spot for Div 2
Followed by
Birmingham 1&2
Rhinos
Flyght 2 (Presumably unlikely)
Red
Jesters
Airwolf
Haze (Unlikely?)
Can you try to get back to me ASAP so that people get the chance to go?
In the event of clubs not being able to field a team, I have suggested
that an alternative could be to send a team of midlands all-stars down
to London to play instead. I will set up a poll on the yahoogroup for
INDIVIDUALS to respond to, to say if they want to go and play. Please
only respond if you have played Winter League this year. (In Tamworth)
Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy - just a heads up that there might be extra spaces available at
WL Finals next weekend. Quite a few teams are prevaricating and, as
they've had plenty of time to make a decision we're not going to hang
around for ever waiting for them!
Official close of entry is end of today, so just thought I'd give you a
warning that you might be offered another spot of 2. Do you reckon there
are midlands teams that might be prepared to enter at short notice?
Btw - Flyght Club have turned down their spot.
