Several Trailblazers garnered trophies in this pleasantly hilly loop around the
farmlands and thru the village of Ringtown(northern Schuylkill county). Tom
Underwood, Darvey Bressi, Paul Noll, all walked away with trophies from their
efforts at this challenging 5k that attracted 150 participants to the village.
This is one of those races where you are running what has to be the typical
local runner's loop.

August 23, 2009 is a 5k or half marathon at the Roaring Creek tract, Conrad
Weiser state forest. This is an entry level trail for people tired of dodging
traffic but not ready to turn an ankle or slip down a gully. It is in the woods
so the shade should make the heat more tolerable.
